CSF (stands for ConfigServer Security & Firewall) is a Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) firewall, Login/Intrusion Detection and Security application for Linux servers. This note mentions some snippets for configuring this software.
- To deny/allow incoming/outgoing ports, change the configuration file csf.conf
- To remove an IP from temporary ban list, remove it from csf.tempban
- To enable some crawler such as goolge, yahoo crawler, etc., change csf.rignore and add rDNS list
